1. Acceptance of these terms
This website is operated by NATION AUTO ACCEPTANCE. By visiting it, browsing our inventory, sending us a message or booking an appointment, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Notice, which is part of these terms.
If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the site. Call us or come in instead — we are happy to deal with you in person.
2. Who you are dealing with
NATION AUTO ACCEPTANCE
3215 Fulton Ave, Sacramento, CA 95821, United States
(916) 779-9386 · [email protected]
In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean NATION AUTO ACCEPTANCE. “You” means the person using this website.
3. Who may use this website
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. The site is intended for people shopping for a vehicle, arranging a visit, or getting in touch with us.
We may suspend or refuse access to anyone who misuses the site, and we may do so without notice.
4. Things you may not do
You agree not to:
- Use automated tools to scrape, copy or harvest our listings, photographs or contact details.
- Attempt to gain access to any part of the site, server or account that is not public.
- Probe, scan or test the site for vulnerabilities, or interfere with its operation.
- Submit false or misleading information, or impersonate another person.
- Use the contact or booking forms to send advertising, solicitations or bulk messages.
- Upload anything containing malicious code.
- Use the site in a way that breaks any applicable law.
5. Vehicle listings, specifications and availability
We describe our vehicles as accurately as we can, and we would rather lose a sale than overstate one. Even so, listings are for general information and are not an offer to sell.
Some details — equipment, trim level, engine, number of doors or seats — are decoded from the VIN using public databases, or come from the previous owner or the manufacturer. Those sources are sometimes wrong, and a vehicle may have been modified since it left the factory.
Photographs show the actual vehicle wherever possible. Colors vary between screens, and a photograph cannot show everything about a used car's condition.
Mileage is as shown on the odometer at the time we listed it and may have increased since. A vehicle shown as available may already be sold, on hold or in preparation.
Please inspect any vehicle, and have it independently examined if you wish, before you commit to buying it. We encourage that and will make the vehicle available for it. This matters particularly because most of our vehicles are sold as is — see section 10.
6. Pricing, and what happens when a price is wrong
Unless we say otherwise, an advertised price is for the vehicle only. It excludes tax, title, registration, license fees, any documentation or processing charge, finance charges, and the cost of any accessory or service added at your request.
Prices shown on this website may contain errors. A mistyped figure, a stale page in your browser's cache, or a fault on our side can all produce a price we never intended. A price published in error does not create a binding contract and does not oblige us to sell at that price. If a price is obviously wrong, we will tell you and give you the correct one, and you are free to walk away.
The price that counts is the one in the written purchase agreement you sign at the dealership.
7. Appointments and inquiries
Booking a time through this website reserves a slot in our diary so somebody is free to see you. It is not a reservation of the vehicle and does not take it off sale. Vehicles are sold on a first-come basis.
We may need to move or cancel an appointment — a vehicle sells, somebody is ill, the weather closes the lot. We will contact you using the details you gave us.
Please give us accurate contact details. If we cannot reach you, we may release the slot.
A test drive is subject to you holding a valid driver's license and meeting our insurance requirements. Please bring your license with you.
8. Vehicle history reports
Where we provide a vehicle history report, it is produced by a third party from records reported to it. We pass it on as we received it. We do not create those records and we cannot guarantee that they are complete — an accident, repair or title event that was never reported will not appear on any report.
A clean report is useful information. It is not a warranty, and it is not a substitute for inspecting the vehicle.
9. This website is not the sale contract
Nothing on this website is a contract to sell you a vehicle. Any purchase is governed by the separate documents you sign at the dealership — the purchase agreement, the federal Buyers Guide, any financing documents, and any written warranty or service contract.
Those documents control. If anything on this website conflicts with them, the signed documents win. Any warranty coverage, or the absence of it, is set out there and on the Buyers Guide displayed in the vehicle's window.
10. Vehicles are sold “as is” — no dealer warranty
Like most independent used-vehicle dealers, we sell the majority of our vehicles “as is — no dealer warranty”. That means that once you buy the vehicle, the cost of any repair it needs is yours, not ours.
The window sticker is what decides this, vehicle by vehicle. Federal law requires us to display a Buyers Guide in the window of every used vehicle we offer, showing whether that particular vehicle is sold as is or comes with a warranty. Please read it. You get a copy of it with your paperwork, and it becomes part of your purchase contract — if it says something different from an advertisement, the Buyers Guide wins.
What “as is” does not mean. It is not a license for us to be dishonest, and it does not take away rights the law does not let us take away. Selling a vehicle as is does not affect:
- Any balance remaining on the manufacturer's original factory warranty, which travels with the vehicle and is the manufacturer's obligation, not ours.
- Any written warranty we do give you, or any optional service contract you buy — those say what they cover in their own documents.
- Our duty to describe the vehicle honestly, to report the odometer reading accurately, and to disclose what the law requires us to disclose, including a branded title or known frame damage.
- Your rights under California and federal consumer protection law, which we cannot sign away and are not trying to.
Because as-is means you carry the risk, we would much rather you satisfy yourself about the vehicle first. Take it for a thorough test drive, look underneath it, and have your own mechanic inspect it if you want to. Ask us for the service records we have. We will make the vehicle available for an independent inspection and we are not offended by the request — a buyer who checked is a buyer who does not come back unhappy.
We never advertise an as-is vehicle as “certified”. California does not permit it, and we would not want to: the whole point of the word is that somebody stood behind the vehicle.
11. Returns and the cancellation option
California gives you no automatic right to return a vehicle because you changed your mind, and neither do we. There is no general cooling-off period on a vehicle purchase, despite how widely people believe there is. Once you sign and take delivery, the vehicle is yours.
There is one thing that can change that. California requires a dealer to offer you a contract cancellation option on a used vehicle under the price limit the law sets. If you buy that option, it is a separate agreement, for a separate fee, and it lets you return the vehicle within the short period it specifies, subject to mileage limits and a restocking fee. Buying it is your choice. If you do not buy it, you have no right to cancel.
We will present this option to you in writing when you buy, with the current price limit, the number of days, and the fees, because those are set by statute and the legislature changes them from time to time. Ask us about it before you sign — it is far easier to decide then than afterwards.
None of this is affected by anything on this website. Booking, messaging or inquiring here creates no purchase and so there is nothing to cancel.
12. Electronic communications
When you send us a message through this site, give us your email address, or otherwise contact us electronically, you are communicating with us in writing. You agree that we may reply the same way, and that our electronic messages satisfy any legal requirement that a communication be in writing.
Email is not a secure medium. Please do not send us your Social Security number, driver's license number, bank or card details through this website or by email. If we need information of that kind, we will collect it in person or by a secure method we will tell you about.
13. Phone calls and text messages
If you give us a phone number, you are asking us to use it to reply to your inquiry or arrange your appointment. We will contact you about the thing you contacted us about.
We do not add you to a marketing list because you sent us a message. If we ever want to send you promotional calls or texts, we will ask you separately and clearly, and you will have to agree to it. You can tell us to stop at any time — reply STOP to a text, say so on a call, or email us. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply.
We do not use an autodialer to call people who have not asked to hear from us.
14. What you send us
You are responsible for what you send through our forms, and for its accuracy. Do not send us anything you do not have the right to send, and do not send anything unlawful, threatening or offensive.
We use what you send to answer you and to keep a record of the inquiry. We may remove or refuse any submission. We do not publish your messages, and we do not claim ownership of anything you write to us.
15. Links to other websites
This site may link to websites we do not control — a map, a vehicle history provider, a manufacturer, or our own page on a social network or marketplace. Those sites have their own terms and their own privacy practices, and we are not responsible for their content.
A link is not an endorsement, and mentioning a product or company does not mean we recommend it or are connected with it.
16. Copyright and trademarks
The text, photographs, layout and design of this website belong to NATION AUTO ACCEPTANCE or are used with permission. You may look at the site, print a page, and share a link to a vehicle — that is what it is for.
You may not copy our listings or photographs onto another website, use them in advertising, or reproduce them commercially without our written permission. Using our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you is not permitted.
Vehicle manufacturer names, model names and logos are the trademarks of their owners. We use them to describe the vehicles we sell. We are not affiliated with any manufacturer unless we say so explicitly.
If you believe something on this site infringes your copyright, contact us at [email protected] with enough detail to identify the work and where it appears, and we will look into it promptly.
17. Disclaimer of warranties about this website
This website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties of any kind relating to this website, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that the information on it is complete or current at the moment you read it.
This section is about the website, not about any vehicle we sell you. Vehicle warranties — or their absence — are covered in section 10 and on the Buyers Guide in each vehicle's window. Your rights in a vehicle come from the purchase agreement, the Buyers Guide, any written warranty or service contract, and the law — including, in California, the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act where it applies. Nothing on this page limits any right you have that cannot lawfully be limited.
18. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, NATION AUTO ACCEPTANCE is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of this website, including lost profits or lost data, even if we were told such damages were possible.
Some states do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, for personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
19. Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify NATION AUTO ACCEPTANCE and its owners, staff and agents against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your misuse of this website, your breach of these terms, or your violation of the law or of someone else's rights.
20. No partnership or agency
Using this website does not create any partnership, joint venture, employment or agency relationship between you and us.
21. Intended for users in the United States
We sell vehicles from our location in Sacramento and this website is intended for people in the United States. We make no claim that its content is appropriate or available elsewhere. If you access it from another country, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for complying with your own local law.
22. Governing law and where disputes are heard
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute about this website or these terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Sacramento, California, and you and we both consent to those courts hearing it.
This section is about disputes concerning this website. If you buy a vehicle, the documents you sign may contain their own dispute-resolution terms, and those govern that transaction.
23. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms, so it is worth looking at this page from time to time.
We may also change, suspend or withdraw any part of the website at any time.
24. Severability, waiver, assignment and entire agreement
If any part of these terms is held unenforceable, that part is limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the rest stays in force.
If we do not enforce something straight away, that is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
You may not transfer these terms to anyone else. We may transfer them if our business is sold or reorganized.
These terms and our Privacy Notice are the entire agreement between you and us about your use of this website. Section headings are for convenience and have no legal effect.
25. Accessibility
We want this site to work for everyone, including people using a screen reader, keyboard navigation or magnification.
If any part of it gets in your way, or if you would like information from the site in another format, call us on (916) 779-9386 or email [email protected] and we will help you directly and fix the problem.

These terms are written to be accurate about how this dealership and this website actually work, and in plain language rather than boilerplate. They are not legal advice and they are not a substitute for terms reviewed by an attorney for your business, your state and your license. Have one review them before you rely on them — in particular sections 6, 10, 11, 17 and 18 (pricing errors, as-is sales, the cancellation option, warranties and liability), and the question of whether you want an arbitration clause, which this page deliberately does not decide for you.
